As our first dedicated HR hire, you will own the people function end-to-end — recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and culture. You will build the systems and rituals that let a small, ambitious technical team scale without losing what makes it work.

What you'll do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and operational hires.
  • Build onboarding, performance, and compensation processes from the ground up.
  • Administer benefits, payroll, and compliance in partnership with finance and legal.
  • Be a trusted partner to the team on people questions of every kind.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of HR or people-operations experience, including at an early-stage startup.
  • Hands-on experience with technical recruiting and modern ATS tooling.
  • Working knowledge of US employment law, benefits, and compensation practices.
  • Excellent judgment and a low-ego, high-trust style of working with founders and ICs alike.
